Drum it Up

Beautiful Heart donated drums for a special needs drum class. Below is a brief description of the class and what they do to help children.

“Drum it Up is an adaptive drum class for Special Needs kids in K-6 grade. Participants engage in rhythmic and musical activities as well as learning basic music theory using percussion instruments. The classes culminate in a performance with T.A.C.O. (The Awesome Children’s Orchestra). Special needs families are usually strained financially due to the costs of medical and therapy appointments and equipment. We offer this class for free to build up our kids and get down with the beat!”
